I will be putting up lots of Christmas pictures soon, but here are some pictures from this morning...we spent our New Year's Day morning out in the snow (you can see the snow was up to Elvis' knees) and now we are watching the Rose Parade! It's fun being able to recognize exactly where they are passing by (just minutes from our house in Pasadena) but it sure is making us homesick! However, it is nice not having to wake up before dawn to get a place to watch the parade....
The best part of the parade is that there is a band from El Salvador in the parade today! When Elvis went to ES a few weeks ago, he saw them practicing. So proud of them! They left ES on Christmas Day to get to Pasadena by BUS. As Suzy watches the parade, she keeps saying, "I can't wait to be in a marching band in Pasadena!!"
